El proyecto de Africandreamland surgi\u00f3 cuando mi marido y yo decidimos viajar a Bamako para conocer a nuestro hijo. Tuvimos que esperar mucho para viajar, as\u00ed que necesitaba algo que me reconfortara mientras tanto.<\/p>\n

Fu\u00e9 entonces cuando cre\u00e9 mi primera Joya de Mapa de \u00c1frica<\/strong>!<\/h3>\n

Muchas de las madres adoptivas que esperaban me ped\u00edan collares o joyas como las m\u00edas, pero personalizadas para sus propias situaciones, continentes o pa\u00edses de origen de sus hijos.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s tarde, cuando comenc\u00e9 a vender mis joyas, pude ahorrar dinero para llevar ayuda de apoyo a al orfanato de Mali, donde mi hijo nos estaba esperando: se necesitan ropa, alimentos y medicamentos constantemente.<\/p>\n

Entonces, desde 2011 cuando conocimos a nuestro hijo, Africandreamland se ha expandido constantemente y ha destinado parte de los beneficios a apoyar a los ni\u00f1os hu\u00e9rfanos de Mali y otros proyectos de adopci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

AfricanDreamland es mi proyecto m\u00e1s personal y es tan especial como mi hijo.<\/p>\n

Por eso, tengo especial cuidado en todos los detalles del proceso: desde el uso de materiales sostenibles (nuestra plata es Argentium Silver 935, una aleaci\u00f3n antial\u00e9rgica que no se oxida y se mantiene siempre perfecta; y el oro que usamos es Fairtrade Gold de comercio justo) a la elaboraci\u00f3n cuidada y personalizada, garantizando siempre la entrega y un env\u00edo r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n

En AfricanDreamland utilizamos la nueva plata Argentium. Esta aleaci\u00f3n es mucho m\u00e1s pura que la plata de ley, adem\u00e1s de ser m\u00e1s brillante y tener un gran poder contra el oscurecimiento. Tanto la plata argentium como el lat\u00f3n y cobre que utilizamos en nuestro taller son de metales reciclados, lo que los hace m\u00e1s sostenibles y ecol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n

How AfricanDreamland Jewelry started...<\/h3>

My name is Mar, I am an artisan jeweler and an adoptive mother from Barcelona.<\/p>

\u00a0I made Personalized Jewel Maps.<\/h4>

The project of AfricanDreamland emerged when my husband and I decided to make a trip to Bamako to meet our son. We had to wait a lot to travel, so I needed something that could comfort me meanwhile.<\/p>

That's when I created my first \u00a0Africa Map Jewel<\/strong>!<\/p>

Many of waiting adoptive mothers would ask me for necklaces or jewels like mine, but personalised for their own situations, continents or countries of origin of their children.<\/p>

Later on, as started to sell my jewelry, I was able to save money for bringing supportive aid to Mali Pouponiere, where my son was waiting for us: clothes, food and medication ares constantly needed.<\/p>

So, ever since 2011 when we met our son, Africandreamland has been expanding constantly and allocating part of the benefits to support orphaned children from Mali and other adoption projects.<\/p>

AfricanDreamland is my most personal project and it is as special as my son.<\/p>

Thus, I have special care in all the details of the process: from the use of sustainable materials (our argent is Argentium Silver 935, an anti-allergenic alloy that cannot oxidize and keeps always perfect; and the gold we used is Fairtrade Gold from fair trade) to the careful and customized elaboration, always guaranteeing the delivery and a fast shipment.<\/p>
